It is an unequivocal fact that toddlers love to be naked.
Sam has spent most of his 18 months wearing little to nothing but a diaper. Those that live in Arizona can agree that it is more comfortable here when one is wearing not many clothes. A few weeks ago Sam woke us up crying. We rushed to his room to find him bare bum and covered in pee. It turned out that Samuel had discovered the joy of a bare bum against his sheets. For the next few nights this pee covered, bare bum ritual repeated itself. Apparently,we are slow learners. We finally realized we could stop this habit by putting pants on him. So, on went the pants. A week or two went by and soon Sam realized that a pair of pants aren't the impenetrable fortress that we thought they were. Again he woke in the middle of the night screaming. I rushed to pick him up, thinking to comfort him from his nightmare. As I picked him up I noticed pee all over and a little bare bum. A few seconds later we also discovered he left us another wonderful present. Ah, the joys of parenthood. He now sleeps in a full one piece pajama that snaps up, and we're anxiously waiting his discovery of how those snaps work.

Wow. Good luck w/that. Wish I had some words of wisdom to pass on, but fortunately, I've somehow skipped this experience with all four. (Knock on wood.)
It was fun hanging out with you and Phil this morning. Let's do it again sometime when the three of us have nowhere to be!
Luis and I have been having a BIG laugh about this!
Sam is funny!!
Oh, Becca. So sorry. Hope those snaps stay snapped a LONG time.
That's when we started putting those baby-proof kind of safety pins across the snap area. Good luck!!
That's funny. I'm glad I have not woken up to any surprises like that...yet! Hope you get it resolved before baby #3 comes along!
