The Golden Rule

Lizzy: "Mom, I LOVE that saying, you know, the one about doing unto others like you want them to do to you."

Me: "That's called the Golden Rule."

Lizzy: "It is my favorite rule. Like today, I was making a big dirt pile and Janette came and took a bunch of my dirt. So, I did unto her as she did unto me and ruined her dirt pile too!"

Me: "Liz, it's do unto others as you would have them do unto you NOT do unto others as they do unto you."
